Qatar DHP accepts good-standing certificates only through PSV: what changed and what to do
Since 1 August 2025, Qatar’s Department of Healthcare Professions no longer accepts a certificate of good standing that your regulator emails or posts to it. Under Circular DHP/2025/08 the certificate must reach DHP as a Primary Source Verification report from one of the approved providers. DHP’s nurse and allied health guidelines still describe the old route, so the change is easy to miss. Here is what the circular says, who it affects and what to do if a licence application is coming up.
AVS becomes Qatar’s third approved PSV provider (Circular DHP/2026/36)
On 3 September 2026 Qatar’s Department of Healthcare Professions approved Approved Verification Services (AVS) as its third Primary Source Verification provider, alongside DataFlow and QuadraBay. AVS is the only one of the three based in Qatar, and its published fees are the lowest for physicians and dentists (QAR 1,050) and match QuadraBay for nurses, pharmacists and allied health (QAR 900). Here is what the circular says and what it means if you are about to apply.
